BBC Shop Method of Delivery
BBC Shop offer one type of service for the UK, which is First Class Mail. Orders will be delivered by either Royal Mail or Parcel Force, depending on the weight of the package. Orders to Europe (EU) are sent using Airmail.

When can I expect my orders to
arrive?
All orders received through the BBC Shop are processed and, if the
stock is available, despatched within 1 working day of receiving the
order. Therefore, depending on the delivery option that you select,
your products will usually be with you in just a few days. If you
place your order and it is processed before 12 noon Mon-Fri, the
goods will be despatched the same day. Any orders received after 12
noon will be despatched the following day (for next day delivery).
Any product that is out of stock is displayed as such on the web
site and you will not be able to order that product until it is back
in stock.

Lost Packages
Even though packages are sent via Royal Mail or Parcelforce on rare
occasions we experience losses whilst in transit. If this occurs
please allow 10 days for the package to arrive from the date of
despatch. If after 10 days, nothing has arrived, please contact your
local post office to check that no goods are being held. If the the
package is not being held, please contact our Customer Services team
who will arrange a replacement.
Please be aware that if we are not contacted within 30 days, an
insurance claim cannot be made and thus the customer will be unable
to claim any loss from BBC Shop.
Why would my contact address be
different to my delivery address?
In some instances the items you order will be delivered by courier.
If no one will be able to sign for the goods at your contact address
you may wish to send the goods to an address where someone will be
able to accept the goods during normal business hours (ie a work
address).
If the items you order are intended for a gift you may wish to have
the goods delivered directly to the gift recipient, but have the
receipt sent to your own address.
Can I track my order once it has been
despatched?
You may only track on order that has been despatched using Parcel
Force and if a consignment number has been provided. To track the
order after despatch simply sign-in to your account information page
and then click on ~Strack a recent order~T. If a consignment number
appears against an item(s) in your order, simply click on the number
and you will be directed to the Parcel Force web-site where you can
see the delivery status of your order.
Returns Policy
At BBCSHOP.com we want to provide you with the best possible
customer service. If you need to return your goods please follow our
3 Point Returns Policy:
- Any product can be returned for whatever reason for a refund of the cost of the product as long as the product is returned in its original condition. Please ensure that software, DVD, video and audio products have unopened packaging and/or seals, unless the item is faulty.
- You will be fully refunded, including return of Royal Mail Registered Delivery costs for the UK and proof of posting from Europe, for a product which is damaged, faulty or incorrectly shipped or any circumstance that is in our error.
- The product must be received by our returns department and have been sent to us within 30 days of receipt, at the address shown below:
